Listen, there are loads of strong deals in the Amazon Spring sale. If you're in the market for a smart home gadget, a new laptop, a set of earbuds, or even a TV, there's an offer for you. But we can't all be buying flashy tech all the time, and what these kinds of sales events are also great for is stocking up on boring essentials at cut prices.

I'm talking coffee pods, electric toothbrush heads, batteries, and even washing-up liquid. Things you'll definitely need, but end up buying at full price when you've run out. Amazon has slashed the prices of dozens of essentials like this — I've rounded up a selection below.

I couldn't include everything, and if there's something you need that's not listed, it's worth heading to the Amazon Spring Deal Days sale and typing in the boring thing you need to stock up on, because chances are there'll be a deal for you (pet food, toilet paper, and toothpaste are all well represented, for instance.)
